ANNIHILATION OF TIME AND SPACE

With the advent of train travel the human body and mind were suddenly hurdled through the world at a rate never before experienced. No longer restricted in movement by the speed of an animal, we separated ourselves further from the natural world. Thus, the train serves as a vessel to explore modern perceptions of time and humanity’s psychological distancing from nature.
